Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22, 1984, on the 22nd of November, 1984 in New York City New York. She is an American actress/singer whose versatility has won her recognition across many kinds of genres, from thrillers to adventures to period films. Johansson was the daughter of an architect as well as a producer, was born as a child in New York City. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. From a young age, she developed a passion for acting and began performing in commercials by the age seven. After a short time, she began studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In the years following it was the time that the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the age of eight, she starred with Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry when she was nine. At that age, she made her first film appearance with Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson made her debut on screen in Just Cause (1996), however it was Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The film tells the story of two young girls that run away. The Horse Whisperer (1998), in which Johansson plays the role of a teenager with a disfigurement, was hailed by reviewers. In the following years, she gained fame as the cynical teenager Rebecca in Ghost World. Renee Felice Smith's path into the entertainment industry began in a very early age. In her childhood, she became fascinated with acting. Smith got her first of many acting jobs in the age of 6. She made a commercial for Dannon. Similar to numerous young actresses, she began her professional career in the theatre. She worked on various projects in the USA in the midst of making her debut on stage. She studied at in the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
